10 injured, 3 regulation enforcement officials hurt after gunfire erupts in Charleston, S.C.

Ten people were injured, 4 critically, and three regulation enforcement officials have been damage Monday evening after gunfire erupted in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, in accordance with police. 

Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg called the Memorial Day rampage a mass capturing, saying "we’re counting our blessings that no one in this incident was killed."

The investigation is ongoing and officers are still working the scene.

Two people were arrested stemming from the assaults on the deputies, police stated.

Those suspects have been identified as Ayesha McGee and Tahira McGee, NBC affiliate of WCBD of Charleston reported, citing reviews from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Workplace. 

Ayesha McGee was charged with third-degree assault and battery and Tahira McGee with second-degree assault and battery and resisting arrest. 

Officials said extra arrests are anticipated.

Officials said South Street from Nassau Road to Drake Avenue and America Avenue from Reid Avenue to Mary Road within the space will remain closed to course of the shooting scene.
