Over 800 WhiteHat Jr employees have resigned from the children on-line coding learning edtech start-up within the last two months after being asked to work from workplace.
This comes after WhiteHat Jr, a platform which was acquired by BYJU’S in 2020, requested its workers to return to office within a month’s time, in line with an Inc42 report.
On March 18, the corporate announced the coverage to end do business from home and requested remote workers to return to office by April 18.
The resignations came from full-time employees of the gross sales, coding, and math teams. More staff are anticipated to put down their papers within the coming months.
One of many staff who resigned instructed the website that a month’s time was not enough for relocation. “Some have youngsters, some have aged and sick mother and father, while others have other tasks. It is not right to call back staff in such a short time period,” the previous WhiteHat Jr worker mentioned.
