The household of an 11-year-old girl who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother said the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed through the taking pictures.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law known as me and she or he was just crying, like 'I believe it just hit Miah. I feel all the things got here to reality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's teacher, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her associates and classmates have been additionally targeted.

Rivera mentioned that's when Miah went into survival mode.
