Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance throughout the road from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles in the automotive. Each were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in stable condition, officers mentioned. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
