Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile right into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.
A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.
The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.
Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance throughout the street from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.
There have been two juveniles in the automotive. Both have been taken to a hospital and are actually in stable situation, officers stated. We don't know their precise ages.
