Man arrested in reference to “faculty shooter” signs found in 3 New Hampshire communities

BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "school shooter" had been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Safety introduced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of fees. 

An increased amount of law enforcement officials were positioned at schools in the communities as a result of the indicators. A number of faculties initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the signs around the communities, the Division of Safety mentioned, but they determined there isn't a credible threat at the moment.

One such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection division launched a photograph of the plate however blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of legal threatening and three misdemeanor prices together with false report back to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and legal threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.

No different suspects have been charged at this time.
