Rasheed said Thursday was the graduation day for sixth grade college students at Duff Elementary.
While driving her son to high school in the morning, she had a talk with him about Uvalde and what to do if one thing ever occurred at his faculty.
"If one thing happened, you’ve received to run anywhere that’s safe and hide," she instructed her child.
Whereas some say the incident in Uvalde is simply too fresh to speak politics, Mitchell mentioned something must be completed now.
"They wish to discuss it, they wish to marketing campaign on it, they need to fundraiser on it, however they don’t need to truly pass any laws and do something," he added.
