Lakpa Sherpa and a number of other different climbers took advantage of favorable climate to succeed in the 8,849-meter (29,032-foot) summit early within the morning, her brother and expedition organizer Mingma Gelu said. He stated she was in good health and was safely descending from the height.
Sherpa, 48, never obtained an opportunity to get a proper schooling because she had to start earning a residing by carrying climbing gear and provides for trekkers. Thursday's profitable ascent was her tenth — probably the most times any lady has climbed Everest — and she has at all times said she wanted to encourage all women so they too can obtain their goals.
