The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Impartial College District police force are no longer cooperating with the Texas Division of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary College and the state's overview of the regulation enforcement response, multiple regulation enforcement sources tell ABC News.
The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Impartial Faculty District did not instantly respond to requests for comment from ABC News.
In accordance with sources, the decision to stop cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a information convention Friday throughout which he mentioned the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the mistaken choice" and opposite to protocol.

Reached by ABC News, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Security said, "The Uvalde Police Division and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police supplied an preliminary interview but has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago."
