Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs day by day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Massive Mac streak started on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Big Mac. I’ve counted each Massive Mac I’ve eaten my whole life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Big Macs a day.

“All by way of life right here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be useless before you reach 50 years of consuming Massive Macs.’ I guess I proved them unsuitable,” he said.

His son isn't stunned at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had joyful meals. I always cherished my hen nuggets, and my brother all the time loved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an on a regular basis life sort of factor for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has extra of a diversified food plan.

“I used to eat hen nuggets each day. I used to eat cheeseburgers daily, however ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, but he certainly does,” he mentioned.

Gorske says he'll continue eating Big Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side till he dies.

“Loads of times folks will say, ‘You appear to be I’m eating a Huge Mac for the primary time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I assume that’s how I feel sometimes. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d somewhat eat,” he said.
