He asks “Are you diabetic?”

“Under no circumstances,” Pesce says — to which the officer responds: “Probably the wrong reply.”

Pesce has been on restricted obligation till additional discover pending investigation outcomes as he faces costs for five site visitors offenses.

“There’s been several calls — and another caller that noticed you get out of the automotive and walk to the again," the officer replies.

Pesce disputes that he had been driving, saying “Nobody was driving.”

He was promoted to chief in 2018, after 20 years with Bordentown police, following the resignation of disgraced former Bordentown Police Chief Frank Nucera.
