Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile right into a concrete security barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Each had been taken to a hospital and are now in steady condition, officials stated. We do not know their exact ages.

They’re anticipated to face prices.

D.C. police are investigating.
