A woman visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a news release from the park.
The girl approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Previous Faithful geyser, the park stated.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison live at the park, and so they have injured more people than every other animal, the park said.
When the visitor got here within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet in the air, the park said.
The lady had puncture wounds and other accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other folks were additionally near the animal when it gored the girl, the park said. The release didn’t say in the event that they had been injured.
The park warned folks to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and not less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
