Teen arrested after mom seen son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray News) - A number of companies responded to a center college in Texas Friday morning after a youngster’s mother noticed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle College around 9 a.m. when she observed the firearm. The teen never made it contained in the building, and he ran from the varsity.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the realm together with several different businesses in an try to find him.
The teen was discovered close to the school’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities said the 15-year-old could be facing a felony weapons charge.
Police say there was no risk made to the school or anybody inside the college.
O.L. Slaton Center School was briefly positioned on lockout because of the incident.
