Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Seiten bei besonderen Stöbern listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller verschiedene Punkte innerhalb des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beherrschen, dass die Seite überlegen in den Suchergebnissen gefunden wird.[3] Da die neuzeitlichen Suchmaschinen im WWW sehr auf Aspekte dependent waren, die nur in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr vulnerabel für Missbrauch und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um vorteilhaftere und relevantere Resultate in Suchergebnissen zu erhalten, musste ich sich die Betreiber der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Voraussetzungen anpassen. Weil der Ergebnis einer Search Engine davon abhängig ist, wichtigste Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den inszenierten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten unangebrachte Testurteile darin resultieren, dass sich die Mensch nach anderweitigen Optionen zur Suche im Web umschauen. Die Auskunft der Suchmaschinen inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Rangordnung, die Kriterien beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur kompliziert beeinflussbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin konstruierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Bing – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Kanten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Can someone help me with the issue:
When I enable the SEO in System>Settings>Store>Server Tab, everything looks and runs Okay, exept when I go in ANY sub-category.
Then the site's URL goes from MySiteNameURL/MainCategory, to MySiteNameURL/MainCategory/AnySubCategory and CSS and JS are not loading at all! The category items listed in this categories are loading , exept the Style CSS file and any JS I have. In other words the site's style is gone.
But:
But if I drop the MainCategory from the URL and enter directly: MySiteNameURL/AnySubCategory the site is finding the correct path to the CSS and JS and everything is Okay.
Please, could someone help me with this? Thank You.

IMPORTANT FOR localhost! If you running project under sub directory for example localhost/opencart/upload you should update .htaccess

Thanks for the video, this made things that little easier for me, the only difference I had to make was to add a few custom lines from my .htaccess to the bottom of the new .txt one as my site forces https access. Took a few seconds and no issues so far 🙂
Doing this has broken all product pages. When I click on any product I open an error page that says something like this: "Fatal error: Uncaught Twig_Error_Loader: Unable to find template "extension/module/quickorder.twig" followed by paths that are missing.

URL shown as in your tutorial, yes, but I get an internal server error …Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
That said, I have my opencart installed in a sub-domain environment , speak https://opencart.mydomain.com
Then again, what about all the product pages? They still show an ugly, ridiculous URL like:
index.php?route=product/product&product_id=40 ???
Who would ever try to even think about buying a product_id=40 from any online store?

I had this setup just fine on my site, but now I'm working with a multi site, and the seo url's do not work with the additional store. I get error 500. I can not figure out why.

I have two htaccess files
htaccess and .htaccess.txt
What do I do here, delete htaccess which is the original file and amend the .htaccess.txt by removing the .txt extension?
Thanks for the video. I had an issue though, my installation on Cpanel did not have the .htaccess.txt file. So I had to create one, then I copy pasted the content from github to the new file and it worked. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/opencart/opencart/master/upload/.htaccess.txt

Hello. I have made all as described here, but get 404. And not seo urls works. My site use 2 languages and I have set keywords for both languages. Finally it works, but changing language go to home page and connection on seo url pages are not secure.
It would be good to add that one should only put category_id=xxx for category etc. because first I was trying to add the whole link with index.php and so one.
