The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Unbiased College District police drive are not cooperating with the Texas Division of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School and the state's assessment of the regulation enforcement response, multiple legislation enforcement sources tell ABC Information.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Unbiased College District did not instantly reply to requests for comment from ABC Information.

In response to sources, the decision to stop cooperating occurred soon after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a information convention Friday throughout which he stated the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the improper choice" and opposite to protocol.

Reached by ABC Information, a spokesperson for the Texas Division of Public Security said, "The Uvalde Police Department and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police supplied an preliminary interview however has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago."

Final Tuesday's assault, one of the worst college shootings in U.S. history, left 19 youngsters and two adults useless.
